I was raised in Maryland, just an hour outside of Washington, DC. From a young age, I have always felt a magnetic pull towards the arts. I find solace and limitless possibilities in expressing myself through various creative mediums. 

Over the past ten years, I have been a professional hair stylist. I am extremely grateful to find that this profession has given me constant opportunity to not only grow in the physical skills needed to do hair, but to develop a mindset in human-centered design… Little did I know, this would lead me to a career in UX design that allows me to fully dive into the realm of connecting human-centered design to digital products that we use daily. I received my certification in UX Design at General Assembly in 2022.

The common thread for my thought-process when designing, whether it be for a haircut or a mobile app, is creating a positive experience in the present moment with lasting efficient results in the future. Every detail should be meaningful. My intrigue for people continues to drive my passion. I am looking forward to seeing the many possibilities that design with positive intent can hold for our future and working with others to build products that will sustain a marvelous vision.
